The Female MBA Indian Sarpanch Chhavi Rajawat
Its was never easy for a girl.
It was never easy for someone who did an MBA from a reputed college.
It was also not easy for someone who works in an MNC.
Well the path was not easy for ANYONE who is none of the above as well!
Yes, it need guts, grit and glory for going beyond the comfort zone and beating it. It needs patience to work in a system which has made many people failing and getting themselves nowhere. But this iron lady decided to do something which was not an easy task for most of us.
After graduating from a reputed MBA college, Chhavi Rajawat, and worked in many big companies, life was easier for her and better was on the way. But she was not meant to be for it. Chhavi Rajawat, studied at Rishi Valley School in Andhra Pradesh; Mayo College Girls’ School in Rajasthan and Lady Shri Ram College in Delhi. After her MBA from Pune, she worked for companies such as Times of India, Carlson Group of Hotels, Airtel, etc. Today, she is the Sarpanch (elected head of the Village Council) in Soda village, Tonk district, Rajasthan.
She may be the first woman Sarpanch in India with an MBA degree, but a career in politics is not on her radar. Well if she wanted to take the easy path she would have been enjoying the top paying and easy going MNC job. But with her decision, she has been an inspiration for women, espcially from the rural areas to think and work in a constructive manner.
Hats off to Chhavi Rajawat and her spirit 🙂 🙂 🙂
