Best way on how to create article directory site with wordpress

Well it was a challenging issue a few days back but now with the WordPress MU or the Multiuser embed inside our core WordPress, there is a reason to cheer for those who love wordpress but want to develop an article directory. There were questions on wordpress regarding the challenges it can tackle in terms of  complex sites or the sites with high volumes but the team has came out with outstanding results and now we can virtually do anything from wordpress!!
